Escalation Clause | TREC's Opinion | Pat O'Brien of RE/MAX Access's Opinion

As my friend Bob Jacob's puts it, "I don't like anything that is design to screw someone else" and that neatly sums up what I believe the intent of an escalation clause isAs REALTORS® we are not lawyers and our job is that of sales person.  We are here to help people buy and sell real estate.  We have a fiduciary responsibility to help all of our clients and to be fair and honest.  I think this clause brings a gamesmanship to real estate that can only spell trouble.
